• Each SCC is offered two ATM ports
• Hosts attached to vBNS switch ports use UNI 3.0/3.1 and ILMI
• LIS available to HPC sites, via the access VP and using PNNI or static NSAP routes
• PNNI between the 17x2 vBNS switches to route VC setup messages
• ANSI-supplied DCC/NSAP
  • vBNS will delegate ATM address blocks
