Mr. Feng graduated from Xi'an Conservatory of Music in July of 1959. He worked as an assistant teacher, a lecturer, an associ- ate professor and a professor after his graduation. At present, he is a researcher and vice director of Guangdong Research Insti- tute of Music, director of the board of magazine, Music Lovers. At the same time, Mr. Feng is a councillor of Guangdong Musicians Association, councillor of Traditional Chinese Music Society, trustee of China Music History Institute, member of Chinese Musicians' Association and member of China Anthropology Society. His main works include: The Encyclopaedia of Guangdong, Modern Musicians Section The Biography of China Modern Musicians (co-written, four rolls) The Music Activities of Guilin Treatise on the Music Culture Music in Baiyie Culture Xian Xinghai's Humanity and The Cultural Constitution of Modern Radio Music He was rewarded the Outstanding Worker for China Folk Music Collection and won the First Prize of Folk Music Paper Evalua-tion.
