Dr. Yang Xiaolu, Ph.D. (1991) from China Art Research Institute an has been a teacher and an editor successively. He is now the vice dean and an associate professor in Department of Literature and Art of Beijing Broadcasting College. His major works are Chinese Music and Traditional Etiquette Culture, Dictionary of Appreciating Chinese and Foreign Popular Songs. He has been the chief editor of Chinese Art Literature Collections and has par- ticipated in the edition of Collections of Chinese National Folk Instrument Compositions (Shanxi Volume). The last two books were awarded the National Book Award.
